Heinz, for an actual list of affected station records:

Searching for the 'Station Name' BBC World Service => 6 results found.. :
    BBC World Service
    BBC World Service News
    BBC World Service for East Asia
    WVPS-HD3 Vermont Public Radio - BBC World Service
    WYPR-HD2 NPR News Station - BBC World Service
    WRVO-HD3 WRVO Public Media - BBC World Service

This list includes the record 'Vermont Public', which looks valid (funktional audio stream URL) but does not run on my receiver.
This is a malfunction, that I mentioned two days ago (refer here below).

Maybe there is one of the users presenting a solution. Or someone can confirm this station working well on other receivers.

Otherwise I will remove this 'Vermont Public' stream of the BBC within a few days.

sure makes sense, thanks nobi. which one of the local stations actually work? the us-american
ones i listed all do not, but there must be several others. if you give me some samples, i could
check them 24hrs for some days, and see if they do include local news, weather or other info.

Certainly all of these BBC World Service channels are mainly the BBC World Service Original. This also made it easy for me to simply delete several of our 'sick' records.
I keep the working BBC World Service data sets for different countries because I have no information about whether there are interrupts by local, regional messages (weather, traffic, warnings) possible.

nobi, correct me if i am wrong, but i think those mainly american BBC WORLD stations
with country/province/city names included (like vermont, washington, burlington etc etc)
are just local relays (some actually for FM) re-broadcasting the very same program as the
main BBC WORLD station. four of which i mentioned in my posting of 23FEB 11:38 pm
- and they are only examples that work.

I removed some broken BBC World Service stations from the LL database.
Vermont Public's BBC World Service does not work on my receiver.
Maybe someone knows a solution (valid audio stream URL) for it. Please tell us!

nobi, for you and for those who might need it: i found these BBC WORLD
stations, amongst many others. checked them on ARNOVA / XORO / DISGO.

on the ones marked WORKING i am not sure they are 24/7, am still checking.

but there are also several versions of BBC WORLD SERVICE on TUNEIN,
which i have not yet checked completly.
